Improve Your Feel For Tennis

Think about someone you know who is "talented" in tennis

Now imagine that person playing the game. . . . what makes them talented?

More often than not, talented tennis players possess great hand skills

French players are world famous for having "French Flair"

Most French tennis players have great feel for the ball, think Gilles Simon, Gael Monfils, Richard Gasquet, Sebastian Grosjean and so many more all had or have incredible hand skills.

What most people don't know is that in France they spend a great deal of time working on "feel"

In an academy if they have 6 hours of training in a day, 1 hour will be spent doing "feel tennis" games and drills.

Think about the last time you worked on your feel?

Now lets talk about Roger Federer - he is known for having great feel for the ball. Is that natural or has he too also worked on improving his feel?

Most likely he was born with pretty good feel plus he done a lot of drills/games to improve what he already had.

So it makes sense that the rest of us should work on feel also, the drill below will get you started in the right direction.
