In this module we’ll cover option one for dealing with high balls to your backhand. This is the highest percentage option but it’s also the most defensive. We’ll cover footwork on this option, racket prep for the one and two-hander and the strike zone.
In this module we’ll cover option two. This option is more risky and requires very good timing, and a slight modification to your usual backhand swing (one and two hands) but if worked on enough, can become a great weapon in your game.
In this module we’ll cover option three for dealing with high balls to your backhand. This option is very safe and can neutralize the point immediately if you execute it well. We’ll cover racket prep, swing zones, and of course the footwork patterns required.
In this module we’ll cover option four, which is the toughest option to execute for someone who hasn’t worked on it, but can be the most effective and attacking option once you master it. You’ll need to change your backswing in order to pull this off properly, and we’ll cover the various techniques involved for the single and double handed backhand.
In this module we’ll cover option five, which requires fast feet, fast eyes and good timing. We’ll cover the racket prep, footwork patterns and the ideal targets to aim for with this option.
In this module we’ll cover option six for dealing with high backhands. This would be the last resort, but works well for players who have a weaker backhand. We’ll teach you the footwork patterns to use, the racket prep and where to aim.
